all the proceeds going to the Chamber sponsored, Miami County Community
Foundation scholarship fund.

– The 10th Annual Circus City Metric Century Bicycle Ride at
the Peru National Guard Armory, 77 Germann Street in Peru. Check in
begins at 7:30 am and riders can start any time between 8 am and 9 am.
Ride distances are 17, 32, 50 and 65 miles. The routes all include the
paved section of the Nickel Plate Trail from Peru to Cassville. The
longer routes will pass by Mississinewa Reservoir and Seven Pillars.
There will be SAG stops with food and drink provided. Photos will be
take along the trail that can be purchased as a keepsake. Register on

Peru. Prizes given to winners. There will be music up and down the
streets with specials in the stores and refreshments! Music, fun, food
and prizes. Event starts off with a parade at the Depot starting at 6
pm with Santa on his sleigh and he will be at the Santa House by 6:30 pm
for picture taking and the shops will be open for “stamping”. There
will also be a Christmas Tree and Wreath Auction located at the museum.
December 5th – Main Street Methodist Church will have
“Christmas on Main Street”. This will be a free Christmas program and a
free will donation supper.
December 11th – Eastern Woodland Woodcarvers Club Christmas
Show. Carry-in and live auction.
December 11th – 12th – Eastern Woodland Carvers
Club Christmas Show. Hours are 10 am to 5 pm in Converse. Live auction
