The Peru Police Department exists for the purpose of protecting life and property and maintaining social order within carefully prescribed ethical and constitutional limits. Through a cooperative effort, we will provide Peru's citizens with outstanding Police services, with emphasis on continued sensitivity to community needs and concerns. Nov 7th, Officer Colten Pitner graduated from the Academy.  During the graduation ceremony, Officer Pitner was recognized for his firearms marksmanship, being the top five marksmen of his class.  Officer Pitner represented the Peru Police Department well during his time at the academy.
