From the Desk of the Mayor: Peru Fire Department comments at 10/05 City Council meeting
From the desk of Mayor Hewitt, It has come to my attention that some of my comments made during the City Council meeting Monday October 5th, about the Peru City Fire Department personnel, were viewed as being degrading and disrespecting towards the Peru Fire Department. This was not my intentions. I have the utmost respect for the dedication and professionalism shown by all Peru City Fire Personnel. So, if any of my comments made during the Council meeting were construed as being degrading or disrespecting, I apologize.
I am immensely proud of ALL City Departments, and the job and professionalism every City Employee shows when they perform their jobs.
We have a City every citizen can be PROUD of.
